
Lesson Learnt In Pain
Our body experiences pain when it meets an accident. When our wounds are apparent we know what causes us pain and we know what needs treatment.
But sometimes there is pain but no physical sign of what causes it. Its inside the body, We take the pain as an indicator that something is wrong and we go see a doctor. The doctor then diagnosis the problem and gives us the right medicine. That way we are cured in time before it could’ve gotten serious.
However, sometimes we ignore the pain , we hope it’ll go away on its own. Instead the pain grows and when it gets unbearable only then do we decide to get a checkup. The disease by then is more painful and may or may not be cured. The pain we felt was an indicator that something was wrong, if there was no pain we’d never know there is something going wrong in our body until it was too late. Here, pain is a kind of a blessing, an indicator that something needs to be fixed.
Physical pain is not the only pain we experience, Emotional pain hurts as much, even more so at times. Though emotional or physical pain can be related to each other they have different cures. Where physical pain pertains to the body , emotional pain has to do with our sentiments about ourselves or our relationships.
If we are going through an emotional crises it is an indicator that we need to get fixed or our relationships are not going too well. We cant ignore this pain, its more dangerous in some ways because no medicine can cure it. If we let the pain grow and not do anything about it, it can cost us our relationships and self worth. We need to take the pain as an indicator and try to get to the root of what causes it, once we’ve gotten to that we need to fix it before its too late.
