~ Night Painted Sky ~

The darkness of the night painted sky… denim blue,
The outline of the clouds lit by the moon.
Clouds slowly drift,
As the Moon continues to lift.
The burn of orange glow,
Enhanced the night warm colors of denim and gold.
Nothing is as beautiful as this view,
Slight damp and chill of the Desert’s dew,
Makes you want to smile with everything inside of you.

So beautiful as light begins to disappear,
Transforming the sky letting darkness softly appear.
Moon, lit behind the clouds at a distance so far,
Nothing else to accompany the sky, not even a star.
Clouds will slowly drift,
Apart from the moon as it sets to lift.
You can only see the outline of the sky colored clouds,
Empty of worry, no thoughts overcome by sound,
The beauty of this world, seen straight from the ground.

Silence of steel colored night,
The moon only dim, not too bright,
Only the glory of gold that glitters the sky.
Colors blend the perfect shades of grey,
I’d like to stare into the sky from the exact spot I lay,
Only visible at the ending of day.

The quiet of night, and whistle of wind is all you hear,
Shadow of light, seen vaguely in the near.
Nothing else to occupy the moon,
Capture the visions, it will be over soon.
Lit, shimmered thin of silver and gold,
It’s getting dark and a little bit cold.
Then fades away the burn with the orange of glow,
Nothing is this beautiful, I thought you should know.
