Around family and old friends back home I bask in Nostalgia’s embrace.

Nostalgia,
To yearn for a past as imperfect as the present.

Nostalgia,
When the present becomes a neglected step-child.

Nostalgia,
A powerful urge to try to recreate the past, despite its imperfections.

Will I succumb to Nostalgia’s kiss?
