Keeping it short today…

Daenerys has gotten boring so I’m just going to overlook the fact that Theon and Yara are backing her now.

Here are my top fives from Episode 9.

**Spoilers Ahead**

  1. That battle choreography: Oh my, I almost orgasmed when I saw that. The cavalry charging at Jon Snow while he draws Longclaw, the horses charging in slow motion. What brilliance! It was art! I rewatched the entire sequence on full volume a second time just for that.
  2. The background score: You wouldn’t have a good war without a good score. This is a bloody great one! Fury, grief, anger, relief — they’re all so beautifully articulated in a span of 20–30 minutes.
  3. Jon Snow and Iwan Rheon: It takes great acting to nail these characters. Particularly the latter — deranged, sadistic, crazy. Both these men have upped the ante for the episode.
  4. Wun Wun: Why must all good men / giants die?
  5. The end of Ramsay: Poetic justice. Enough said.

That was my list.
