The Self
Reflections, Ripples and Ramblings of a Restless Mind
For too long now, the conversation keeps wheeling around my head. A never ending argument.
With myself.
The time has come, I can’t put it off any longer. I can’t deny this desire any longer.
I owe it.
To myself.
I want to move forward but something grips at my leg, holding me back.
I need to do this.
For myself.
I’m perched on a precipice, I know I need to jump, but to let go is to let go.
Of myself.
That I’ll catch my own fall. Be my own net.
And in this leap of faith, true life begins. Everything till now has been my prelude.
It’s time to trust, to have faith.
