there’s beauty in all walks of life

it’s in wind and the leaves,

the earth and its trees,

or in lion that feeds,

and gazelle, as it bleeds.

it’s in snowy white peaks,

the birds and their beaks,

or in slabs of concrete,

and the oil that leaks.

it’s in boy with red cheeks,

and the love that he seeks,

or in death as he reaps,

and the girl, as she weeps.

it’s in heated white sheets,

the remission, complete,

or in people that cheat,

and life’s final retreat.

there’s beauty in all walks of life, the good and the evil, the joyous and the miserable. duality is the essence of life.
