Duh! *Hides face*

I am not surprised. I saw this one coming.

Disclaimer: I hold no grudges against technology. I am absolutely in love with Medium’s interactive and amazing UX.

This has to do with my upbringing. Although I am a quitter of books, but I am not very fond of losing connection with old habits. I miss writing letters. I miss my old peaceful life. I miss visiting my nani’s (grandma) house.

Ah! I digress.

Give me one good reason for not using Kindle? It’s handy, it’s affordable. You can find every book there at half the cost of a hard copy.

My reasons are beyond these petty benefits-

  1. The smell of the book, its fresh pages- Can you get that in your K.I.N-D.L.E?
  2. Can you keep a hand-made or gifted bookmark in that electronic device?
  3. Any idea how you can store all the stories you have read so far in a bookshelf?
  4. Do you guarantee that your kindle is theft-proof?
  5. How comfortable will you be to lend your kindle to a dear friend when he asks you for a recommendation?
  6. Most important, can you sleep on your KINDLE?

Hah! I WIN.

Sorry for being pretty hard on you. But can’t help my old school ways.

This post is a part of challenge that I took. I will be writing 100 words everyday for 100 days. Day thirty eight is here. Thank you for reading.
