With Hardship Comes Ease

“These times are getting harder”, he said.

“People are emotionally, mentally, financially unstable”. “I fear what will come next”.

I agreed. What he said made sense. I remember my childhood was happier and better. With every passing year, Life was losing its colours. I yearned for the simpler times.

But wasn’t it true that I was able to do a lot of things I couldn’t have imagined doing earlier. Things were easier and simpler in some ways. In others, they were too complicated to understand.

Everything is changing. And though change is inevitable, not everyone adapts easily. We have to prepare ourselves for the good and the bad. Because they don’t come without one another.

Problems are there. Solutions are too. Hard times come. Good times too.

Both go hand in hand.

Such are the paradoxes of life.
