50 days writing every day.
Actually it’s probably been a bit more than that, but it’s definitely 50 days of dedicated, intentional writing.
Writing that isn’t poetry that is.
And it seems apt to be writing this today instead of yesterday when I actually hit the 50 day mark given the email that popped into my inbox letting me know I’d achieved top writer status in Writing.
Karmic.
I could go the cliche route and do the whole ‘5 things writing every day on Medium has taught me about myself’ thing; but I’m not going to because actually it’s irrelevant.
Why I write is very personal to me, why you write is very personal to you. And without being funny, let’s keep it that way.
Not because I don’t want to know, but because the mystery is part of the allure.
What has writing every day for 50 days taught me?
To write, and not worry about why.
