From Happy Endings to The Mindy Project, Adam Pally ’05, Continues to Expand his Repertoire in Comedy.

Actor, comedian, and writer Adam Pally, BA Liberal Arts ’05, is known for his role as Max Blum in the ABC comedy series Happy Endings and as Dr. Peter Prentice in The Mindy Project. During his studies, Pally also trained and performed improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, where he has been a member since 2003.

Pally has been featured in 24 different films and 27 different television series. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards for his role in Happy Endings. Pally recently had memorable roles in films such as, Iron Man 3 and The To Do List. Other notable movies he played a part in were Dirty Grandpa, starring Robert DeNiro and Zach Efron. Pally has been a guest on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, The Colbert Report, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

He recently took a dive into theater, starring in the Off Broadway play, “Cardinal” by Greg Pierce.
