Linear model

It’s happening. A machine took her job.

The Python package sklearn contains a linear model called PassiveAggressiveClassifier.

The HR lady used to be the company’s PassiveAggressiveClassifier. Now all her talents can only be used in the uncomputerised underground — Preserve Human-Based Customer Support Alliance, kink events, and the Mechanical Turk Unmechanised Society.

Incentivised to find instances of this one variable, she started overfitting. Her whole world became passive aggressive.

We tried to calibrate the ex-HR lady, surprisingly she accepted invitations to both cuddle parties and the local fight club, saying “Well that was a strangely clever suggestion for you to make.”
