When you’re groggy, you’re more creative. But, you’re vulnerable to distractions. That’s why you should “be your own boss.”

When you’re your own boss, the present version of you tells the future version of you what you’ll be doing. Put it on the calendar, build a habit, and create rules about what you won’t be doing. Then, follow that plan.

This eliminates second-guessing, and keeps you from getting off track. This gets you fully-focused on the task at hand.

Start small, and eventually you can build up to having a plan for your whole week. You can be fully-focused all day, and all week.
