If you’ve tried to make art, you know the feeling of raw fear. Raw fear isn’t all that dangerous, because you know it’s there. What you need to be wary of is quiet procrastination.

Quiet procrastination happens when you think you’re being productive, but you’re actually not being productive.

Quiet procrastination happens when you’re doing even more research.

Quiet procrastination happens when you fantasize about your grand vision.

Quiet procrastination happens when you keep calling meetings.

Quiet procrastination feels good. That’s what makes it so dangerous. You feel like you’re making progress. But quiet procrastination just keeps your art far away, while bringing your death a little closer.
