There are countless reasons to not reach your creative potential. There is always a new email, a new tweet, or something happening in the news. There is always more to watch on Netflix.

These things make pleasant distractions from the real reason: Getting Art Done is hard. You will fail, you will feel embarrassed, and you will feel uncomfortable. You will have to face the fact that you are responsible for your own success, or failure.

These are not optional. You cannot succeed without them.
