A fork on the road

If life is Monopoly, landlord will certainly be the winner. However, the situation is much complex in real world. There are numerous opportunities for you to excel others — and certainly you don’t have to be a landlord or the richest guy in the world.
As a newbie who just graduated and work in the first year, I am figuring out where my competitive edge is. Today I read a post from WeChat, titled “Why are we learning?”, mentioning there are a number of people giving up their hobbies, or their studies, just because they think what they are learning is useless and cannot give them immediate return. I reckon I have created many excuses for myself not to learn something. And I regret now because years later those skills are the key to overcome challenges I am facing.
Fortunately, the never-give-up attitude forced me to move on, to pick up what I should have learnt earlier. Thank you those who talked with me, listened to my stories, and willing to learn and grow together.
