Siri and Her AI Friends are Struggling with Arabic
Alexa and Cortana can’t even speak the language
In all fairness, I never tried to speak Arabic to Siri. Apple introduced the language to Siri in iOS 9.2, but I was never tempted to try it because I knew from the get-go that the experience would be somehow strange.
Actually, Siri is the best AI voice assistant to speak Arabic out there. Her friends and competitors Alexa and Cortana don't even speak the language — Google assistant speaks the language but not on iOS in Germany, and Google Translate is barely accurate in Arabic.

The Google translation of this tweet went viral in the Arabic world. It is an epic fail by Google Translator.
