Team & General Updates

Learn how to save (and pre-save!) tracks to your Spotify account from 1001Tracklists, and monitor your releases on 1001Trackstats!

1001Tracklists Website Tips & Tricks: Spotify Save & Pre-Save
Click on any of the Spotify “Save” or “Pre-save” buttons located throughout the site to save tracks directly to your Spotify Liked Songs! We’re the only platform that allows you to pre-save ID tracks before artists and labels are even running pre-save campaigns. This means that if an artist plays an ID track and releases it one year later, you’ll have it saved to your Spotify collection the moment that it’s released!

1001Trackstats Product Update
We’ve now fully automated our track aggregation. We’re reading in full catalogs across the streaming & purchase platforms, and can detect and add new releases as soon as they become available. You can expect some even bigger news soon! ;)

Event Updates
We’re thrilled to be hosting two livestream events during Miami Music Week on Wednesday, the 18th and Thursday, the 19th! Stay tuned for more info, but be ready for surprises, fresh music, and the beautiful Miami scenery to come to you live in your living room.

Team Updates
The 1001Tracklists team will be attending Wired Music Week in Kuala Lumpur March 12–15. 1001Tracklists is hosting a panel discussion on “How Data Makes A Difference” that Evan is moderating. Evan is also moderating a panel on “Music Sustainability: Label Deals vs. Independent Releases Debate,” and Oskar is one of the speakers.

Around The Community

Enjoy a Q&A with two of the top users on 1001Tracklists, pjanoo (Germany) & vilgotlava (Sweden)!

What’s your favorite song that you’ve discovered this year?

Pjanoo: One of my favorites is definitely the Dave Winnel Remix of “Lighter Than Air.” Still love the original from last year but this one is a great new alternative.

Vilgotlava: The best electronic track I’ve discovered so far this year would probably be Lino Cannavacciuolo ft. Mario Bianco — “Midnattssol.” Cannavacciuolo is a great violinist and I believe him working together with Bianco for an electronic track turned out really well.

Which artist do you want to see in the next year that you haven’t seen yet?

Pjanoo: I’ve been a huge fan of Afrojack since “Polkadots” and “Bangduck,” but unfortunately I have never seen him live and would love to see him!

Vilgotlava: If I could choose one artist to see perform live it would have to be Eric Prydz and his HOLO show. It’s phenomenal.

What do you do when you’re not on 1001?

Pjanoo: I work for a company in Munich which has nothing to do with music. In my other free time I do a lot of things for DJ Mag Germany, sit in front of the Playstation, and try to relax outside.

Vilgotlava: When I’m not on 1001, I usually practice classical music on the piano or sometimes read if I manage to find time.

That’s it for this month! Stay tuned for the next edition on Monday, April 6th. If there’s anything that you’d like to see in our newsletter, please feel free to leave us feedback! [Go to feedback form]
