Around The Community

Enjoy a Q&A with two of the top users on 1001Tracklists, Zinderlong (Netherlands) & AZ_Music (Switzerland)!

Who’s your favorite up and coming artist?

Zinderlong: My favorite upcoming artist is Loopers. I love his style. And when I saw him live during ADE last year, the energy of his set was on another level.

AZ_music: My favorite up and coming artist is Colyn. His sound is mesmerizing. When I listen to his tracks I get goosebumps. I can’t wait for his next releases.

Zinderlong (Netherlands)

What’s the best show that you’ve attended and what made it special?

Zinderlong: The best show I ever attended was Martin Garrix’s “ETHER” show from ADE last year. Two and a half hours of pure happiness. I never saw a lightshow like that before. An unforgettable night.

AZ_music: The best show I’ve attended was Montreux Sundance in Switzerland in 2011. It was special because it was my first ever show, the lineup was amazing (Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Martin Solveig, Laidback Luke, Avicii…) and it was the first time I saw Avicii on stage. I have been a big fan since his first tracks were released in 2008.

What do you like most about using 1001Tracklists?

Zinderlong: I have been using 1001Tracklists literally every day for five years now. What I like the most is getting to make sure that everything is up to date. It takes a lot of time, but the fact that so many DJs and producers out there support our user community makes it all worth it.

AZ_music: By using 1001Tracklists I can help other users find some IDs, promote radio shows of different artists, and improve the website in my own way. I’m happy to be a part of it.

That’s it for this month! Stay tuned for the next edition on Monday, May 4th. If there’s anything that you’d like to see in our newsletter, please feel free to leave us feedback! [Go to feedback form]
