October is finally here and we are gearing up for our busiest month of the year! We have a big ADE ahead and the anticipation has never been higher!

On Monday, October 16th, we’ll drop this year’s Top 101 Producers and Future of Dance lists. Then on Thursday, October 19th, we’re back for our annual Top 101 Producers event at Room Mate Aitana Hotel. Finally, on Friday, October 20th, The Future of Dance ADE celebration takes center stage as an official part of Amsterdam Dance Event!

Hosted at the Andaz Hotel, the event will feature sets from some of the most inspiring female and POC artists over the last year. Admission is open for ADE Pro Pass holders and select RSVPs. Please email rsvp@sololdn.com to reserve a spot.

For this year’s Top 101 Producers and Future of Dance, we’re partnering withDJ.Studio, a digital audio workstation designed specifically for DJs and fans who want to create DJ mixes and playlists. It’s a unique piece of software that has revolutionized the process of creating DJ mixes. This helps you to create seamless transitions with minimal effort, and it’s never been faster to create your own mix.

This partnership extends far beyond ADE — there is now an integration between 1001Tracklists and DJ.Studio so that you can import a set or mix from 1001Tracklists and create your own mix from it within DJ.Studio! You’ll see the DJ.Studio button on tracklist pages on our platform, as well as the ability to search for and create mixes from 1001Tracklists sets and mixes on the DJ.Studio platform.

For the Top 101 Producers event we have also partnered with POSH, an event management platform which will be handling our RSVPs and ticketing. Founded by a team of DJs and event producers, POSH is democratizing the ability for anyone to host an event, from dinner parties to music festivals.

Before we jump into our monthly interview, we’d like to take a moment to also shout out our sponsor from Miami Music Week, Klubcoin, who just launched their KLUB token from 2nd October 2023!

KlubCoin allows paying in clubs such as Amnesia Ibiza, Bootshaus, Cova Santa and hundreds more using cryptocurrency through just a scan and without any complicated elements of cryptocurrency. With Klubcoin, you can now pay for your drinks or book tables, tip DJs, get access to sold-out events, buy limited edition merch and win money-can’t-buy experiences in the venues you visit every weekend! You can read more about KlubCoin in our extended interview with founder and CEO Stephane Schweitzer.

This month we have a special interview with Timo Kebshull from aint forever., a fashion & streetwear brand founded in Cologne Germany. Earlier this year, we launched our first merch collaboration together called “The BPM Collection,” which you can check out here!

Where did the idea come from to start aint forever.?

Timo (pictured right): Let’s try to make a long story short. I had already worked as a student in London for two well-known fashion brands before I met my friend and business partner Falk (pictured left) at a private party in our hometown. We both had quickly realized that we shared the same passion and a very similar taste for creative ideas when it comes to streetwear designs. It turned out that Falk was pretty handy with any kind of design software while I was all about creating and establishing an emotional lifestyle brand which people would love to identify themselves with. That day the idea of ain’t forever. was born.

What made you want to work with us? How did the design for the ain’t forever. x 1001Tracklists collab come about?

Timo: Since our Boarding Pass collection had kind of gone viral in the clubbing & DJ scene, we already knew that we wanted to focus more on making street-, or how we like to call it “clubwear,” for people who love electronic music and festivals. Also, because this is our DNA as well. So, the idea to collaborate with 1001Tracklists came at a perfect time, since we knew we were not only sharing the same passion for electronic music but also a very similar target audience.

The BPM Collection design represents exactly this kind of passion. So, in a creative approach, we combined elements of a DJ player and an ECG, to visualize that our hearts are beating for electronic music. And since people identify themselves with all kind of electronic music genres, we decided to make the number of BPM on the back adjustable.

What’s next for you guys? Anything exciting that you’re working on?

Timo: Yes, definitely! We are about to launch a totally new website / online shop, where we’re going to drop two more collections this year which we have been working on for quite some time now. In addition to that we are planning to collaborate with well-known music festivals and night clubs to expand the clubwear section of ain’t forever. Last but not least, we are going to have our first ever pop-up store during this year’s ADE at your Top 101 Producers event at the Room Mate Hotel (19th October 2023) — we are super excited for it!
