Yay! Horray! Yay! Woohoo! Yay!

Finished Intro to Javascript on Codecademy!!! Woohoo!!!

I finished out the rest of Requests Part 1 and completed Requests Part 2. Using $.get(), $.post(), $.json(), promises, fetch(), then(), await, async, and how to use these with ES6 and ES7. Wow! My brain feels like it’s going to explode with all the stuff I worked on tonight. I probably won’t be able to retain everything I learned, but with me finishing the section today I now have a reference to return to with working examples.

Aww man this feels good! I finally got through to the end! Took me less than the 39 hours that was estimated, but I think the beginning part was easy for me to get through since I’m already familiar with the language.

And now to figure out what I want to work on next. Might take a break from Codecademy and work on some design stuff. I really enjoy figuring out how to solve a problem using crappy sketches, badly drawn icons, and poorly written notes only I can understand. It just makes me giddy! ^_^

And that’s it for me tonight awesome people! Stay classy and code on!

Finding myself through process of elimination and lots of error codes, eventually getting all the wrong pieces right.
