As most of you already know, CremePieSwap has officially launched today on the MATIC mainnet. The new DEX & AMM on the Polygon network is poised to be a successful long-term play however, there has been so much support and hype from the community that exponential growth may just be seen a little quicker than first anticipated.

Market Cap already more than double

The initial market cap listing of CremePieSwap had started at around $3 million. After about an hour, the market cap of CremePieSwap had almost tripled. A strong showing of community strength and confidence in the project, which is a solid sign of the fundamentals needed to continue rapid growth in the upcoming market cycles.

Blacklisting bots results in slight delays

Although the launch had been a successful one, it was not without a few complications. Slight delays with the second private whitelist sale were necessary in order to guarantee funds of investors were 100% safe and correctly added to the respective liquidity pools. An aggressive amount of bot purchases were widely to blame. The public token sale on PadX had crashed due to the unnatural activity however, bot addresses were easily recognized and removed from the whitelist once identified. After initial issues were resolved, public sales had reopened, which filled in a matter of minutes.

The official listing goes live

Once the private sale had ended, it was time for the official listing of CremePieSwap on the Polygon network. A bridge provided by the CremePieSwap team would be used to bring the pre-bought $CPIE to Polygon.

The delay from the second private sale and final information & detail confirmation had naturally pushed back the launch time for CremePieSwap. The original time for the launch was scheduled at 2:00 am PST. The new time would see a 30-minute delay, resulting in the live listing of CremePieSwap on the MATIC mainnet to be officially 2:30 am PST.

Airdrops

CremePieSwap airdrops are currently underway. At the time of writing, all participants will be expected to receive their tokens in a maximum 4 hour period (at the latest, 9 am PST), with about 3 to 4 percent having already received them.

The co-founder of CremePieSwap, Ken Llamas, had mentioned in a tweet that all tokens are currently in the air and are being queued. A large amount of traction has caused the CremePiewSwap bridge to be very slow from BEP20 to MATIC. Ken then went on to mention that even he hasn’t received his tokens yet, asking for patience in the community.

The anticipation for one of the hottest projects this summer has not failed to deliver. An insane amount of participants have decided to join the CremePieSwap family, and have been part of the reason for slight delays. Trending Twitter hashtags and other forms of viral content have also been a key contributor to the early congestion and success of CremePieSwap. Due to the increasing demand, participants are asked to keep calm and wait for tokens to be airdropped to their wallets.

Many more updates are still to be announced on the official CremePieSwap social media pages.
