Learning with flashcards
This post is part of 101 ideas for agile teams.
Context
Your team needs focus and motivation for learning.
Action
Split a big topic the team wants to learn into small pieces and put them on flash cards. For every Sprint a team member or the whole team takes one card and focuses on its topic. A single topic on a card should be small so that it is easy to remember during daily work.
Examples: split a cheat sheet of some topic into its parts, one clean code guideline at a time, one shortcut of your IDE at a time.
What you gain
Progress is noticeable because it happens in small steps.
Focusing on something small helps to keep on it and not to be overwhelmed.
How to strengthen
Visualize learning steps made.
Risks
None so far.
