Top Reasons for App Store Rejections
You can spend months on an app design and development before uploading it to the App Store, but it is possible that the App Store will reject your app. What are the most frequent reasons for an app’s rejection? And more importantly, how can it be avoided?
Broken Links and Support
All links in your app must work properly. Also, providing a link to user support with up-to-date contact information is required for all apps.
Don’t forget about providing a link to your privacy policy, too, if you offer auto-renewable or free subscriptions. Include a link to your privacy policy even if your app is in the Kids Category.
Placeholder Content
Check placeholder content in your app. Undone images and text won’t be approved. Add proper images and correct text. Check all other content of the app so that everything will be finalized.
Incomplete Information
Your app might have some features available for registered users only. In this case, share a demo account complete with username and password.
If features require an environment that is hard to replicate or require specific hardware, provide a demo video of the hardware.
In other words, allow the possibility to check every feature of your app.
