Burnout is the enemy of any high achiever, but it’s something that we all face at least once in our lives. You start sleeping in, procrastinating, eating poorly, and a bunch of other detrimental things.
This issue of 111 will outline a few crucial steps that you can use to avoid burnout!
- Training. You need to train your body and your mind daily. Hit the gym, go on a walk, run 5k etc for the body, and read books, learn a high value skill or take an online course for the mind. Training gives your life meaning.
- Good nutrition. You need to ensure that you’re fulling your body correctly so that it can work at a high standard every day!
- High quality sleep. Aim for 7–9 hours of sleep each night, uninterrupted without any technology.
- Mindfulness. Incorporate some form of mindfulness — breath work, mediation, yoga etc — into your daily life for peace.
