There exists the notion that philanthropy is something only done by the rich. Many of us genuinely want to do good but oftentimes do not want to give up what little money we have. We want to challenge this misconception. We truly believe that EVERYBODY has the ability to contribute to doing good, and we truly believe that EVERY PENNY matters. When your contributions go to the proper causes, even the smallest amount of change adds up to make a big difference. It is with this vision in mind that we are proud to announce the launch of the first phase of our service, 12for12.

Starting today, you can sign up to join our monthly giving club at 12for12.org . By doing so, all your contributions will be donated to charities representing a different cause every single month. Our plans start as low as 12 cents per day ($3.60 per month) because we believe in empowering every individual to support important causes — no matter how much they give. Since our service is automated, you can have peace of mind knowing that you are doing good even when you are not looking. Finally, we are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so all of your contributions are tax exempt.

In observance of Autism awareness month, we are proud to be donating all of our proceeds from the month of April to Autism Compassion Africa. Donations to Autism Compassion Africa will be used to purchase meals, classroom supplies, and technology to support autistic students as well as their families and communities. From their website:

“Autism Compassion Africa provides breakthroughs for children with autism and their communities in Ghana through the application of evidenced-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. We envision a social system that provides support for all children with autism in Ghana, for their families to be able to thrive, and for the child to have increased independence to lead a meaningful life as a member of the greater social community.”

Our mission is simple: We want to disrupt the idea that only the wealthy can contribute to making the world a better place. At 12for12, we want to show that even the smallest amount of change adds up to make a big difference.

With Love,

The 12for12 Team
