MIT Sloan is home to many great things — entrepreneurship, brilliant faculty, inspiring students, but not to great food. The e62 cafe is known for overpriced ($10 for a kebab that would cost $5 anywhere else!) and not particularly tasty food. To make matters even worse, the original contract between the E62 cafe and Sloan forbid the presence of microwaves effectively forcing students to buy food from the cafe or eat their leftovers cold. The Sloan senate did a fantastic job fixing this problem, but that does not justify the absurdity of the situation.

Given our tuition expense and the amount of time we spend at Sloan, we should have always been allowed to microwave our foods. I chose this image macro because it is comical and highlights absurdity. This image macro is common on the internet to express comical hyperbole which is exactly the message I aim to convey.
