During my Spring Break I had the chance to go to NYC and spend some days over there. A good friend of mine is the owner of UMA Temakeria NY (a kind of Japanese restaurant that makes Temaki — hand rolled sushi). Last year she decided to create the Sushi Burrito due to the fact that it was hard to explain to the majority of the customers what a Temaki was. So she decided to try the Sushi Burrito because a burrito was already very part of North American’s understanding and culture, and they also get that it is made with sushi instead the other regular ingredients of a burrito.

The idea turned to be a success and new competitors jumped into the business. One of them launched a video on Insider Food that became a success having more than 30 million views. The explanation of the success? I have no idea. It is a very simple video, explaining how a sushi burrito is made with a testimonial of a customer about it in the end. Not funny, not tragic, it is an explanation of how to make a certain food like many of the other videos on Insider Foods facebook page. What called my attention and intrigued the most is: what is the attributes that makes a post viral? Does anyone has a recipe?
