Drones for remote northern areas

According to this CBC story, a company called Drone Delivery Canada will begin flying goods between Moosonee to the island of Moose Factory in northern Ontario, starting next month.

Getting food and goods out to the remote areas of the north is an ongoing problem for First Nations communities.

This initiative could be a life-saver when the winter weather closes down roads and bridges and boats have trouble with in the icy waters.
