Sylvia McAdam is one of the co-founders of the Idle No More movement. She identifies as a Treaty 6 descendant, Nehiyaw and Anishnabe woman and is a voice to listen to in the Indigenous Rights debate.

McAdams recently (June 21, 2017) tweeted out a photo of a letter her mother received from the Department of Indian Affairs way back in 1921.
