Kanashimi No Mukou He — School Days

This song for me changed my life for the worst of ways. When I was in middle school, I met my first real friend. Her name was S. I knew her from 7th-8th grade and she introduced me to Japanese music. This song stands out more than any of the other Japanese songs because S was shot and killed at a party in front of me. Because of her death I’ve fallen into depression and this song describes my pain that I face every day. I listen to this song to remember my friendship that I once had before.
