I’m drowning in an ocean,

And no one is there,

To throw me a life line,

And pull me to shore.

I’m lost in the ocean,

Kicking my feet,

Trying to stay afloat,

And losing all hope.

I’m waiting for someone,

To notice I’m gone,

Maybe they’ll come looking,

But most likely they won’t.

I’m fighting the ocean

Trying to keep my head over water,

But the waves keep coming,

And I’m getting weaker.

The water is freezing,

And I’m starting to give up.

I’ve lost all hope of rescue,

And all strength to keep fighting.

I’m losing the battle,

The ocean has won.

It’s dragging me down,

And nobody noticed.

Now I’m gone,

I’ll never be saved,

It’s too late now,

My ship has sailed.
