Integrate 1hero AI with Shopify: Create a Custom Shopify App and Locate API Credentials

Follow the instructions below to connect your Shopify account to 1hero AI.

Step 1: Create a custom app in Shopify

1. Go to Shopify Admin page (yourshop.myshopify.com/admin)

2. Navigate to Settings

3. Go to “Apps and sales channels” page

4. Click “Develop apps” button (on the upper right corner)

5. Click “Create an app” (on the upper right corner) 6. Create app and name it as “1hero.ai”

Step 2: Configure scopes of your Shopify custom app

1. Navigate to “Configuration” tab

2. Click “Configure” Admin API integration

3. From Admin API Scopes access list choose:

4. Click “Save”

Step 3: Install a custom Shopify app

1. Navigate to “API Credentials” tab

2. Click “Install app” and then “Install”

Step 4: Copy paste Shopify API credentials to 1hero app

1. Click “Reveal token once” and copy access token.

2. Keep Shopify Admin browser tab open and navigate to 1hero.ai’s E-Commerce page & paste it in “Admin API Access Token” field of “ Shopify” section

3. Go back to Shopify Admin tab and copy the “API key” (not the “API secret key”)

4. Navigate to 1hero.ai’s “E-commerce” page & paste it in “API Key” field of “Shopify” section

5. Enter your Shopify store URL in “Shopify Store URL” field.

Now you have connected your Shopify account to 1hero.ai.
