NFTs that help / Trying to 1up Axolotls

Today I’m going to talk about a really cute and interesting character.
Axolotl (ak·suh·lo·tul or ak·suh·laa·tl) is a really cute animal from México.

David, from the creative team shares with us:

“I tried to think of something that was real but felt more fantastical, one of my favorite creatures just because they seem so alien and unreal, not only they are very fun to draw as well as cute.

I thought of playing with that idea of something more fantastical and cutesy that could be like a magical creature from a game. Along with that came the idea of enjoying it’s charm and the fact that it looks like a baby dragon to also spread awareness of the fact that we are loosing this animal from the actual world and that it’s an endangered species.”

Isn’t it cute?

Axolotls are used in scientific research due to their ability to regenerate limbs.

They are not only cute and interesting but also endangered. With a population of about 1,000 adults. The International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) along with different universities.

A bill soon to be released for Mexican Pesos

For us is a Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and that’s why in 1up we want to pay homage to this cool salamander, and also help! We want to raise awareness along with you.

Soon we will share with you how to help. Stay tuned!
