February 2020 — La Vague, Belgium
In February, the 1x12 Foundation chose to support La Vague (The Wave) which aim is to preserve the well-being and self-development of people with disabilities (any types of disabilities, physical, mental or sensory). This association, located in Brussels and active for 40 years, has several fundamental missions: individual housing support, foster family (full-time) and children and adults sponsoring (foster home part-time).
The donation will help financing a communication campaign with the objective to educate and inform the public but more importantly, to find new foster families for the children and adults that are still waiting for a family.
