March 2019 — Little Hearts, Belgium

Last month, (through his foundation, 1x12) supported Little Hearts, a belgian organisation whose mission is enshrined in the Sustainable Development Goals.

They mainly work in South-East Asia (Cambodia, …), on educational, community and environmental projects.

With its 1.170€ donation, specifically contributed to the purchase of a generator aimed at running an elaborated system called Aquaponic.

Aquaponics is a self-sustaining food production ecosystem that functions on the core interactions of fish, plants and bacteria. Fish and their waste provide fresh nutrition for healthy outputs that grow entirely in recirculating water — with no soil required!

Aquaponics presents key advantages, resource saving techniques, and forward impact that can be more beneficial than traditional agriculture or farming solely on aquaculture or hydroponic methods.
