Beer App: Untappd

Drinking beer has always been social. Untappd updates the process with social networking features to make it even more fun. It supports iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and Palm. Get started by going to http://m.untappd.com on your mobile device.

The idea is similar to Foursquare, except checking into beers. Comes in handy when trying to remember that beer you had 2 months ago in Austin. It works with Foursquare, Facebook, and Twitter to check into places with your beer and find your friends to see what they are drinking.

Other features include beer trending in general or locally, a wishlist to track the beer that got away, and The Pub scrolling feed showing what everyone on the system is drinking.
