A week before Christmas, Lucy Van Pelt, who by the way is a dead ringer for Emma Stone, leaves Los Angeles and returns to her quaint childhood home in Seneca Falls, NY. Lucy is not looking for love.
She’s not looking for love because she’s too busy helping The Grinch run MeanOne Inc., which automates digital advertising inventory for all the important companies in an area just outside Los Angeles called ‘ARealWho’sWhoville.’
She’s also not looking for love because she’s cynical about monogamy after having an affair with the managing director of a design agency, who himself is married to a woman who stays home to help their children prepare their lobster costumes for their school Christmas play and whose brother happens to be the Prime Minister of Britain and who himself is in love with his debatably chubby caterer Natalie. But this is not about them, it’s about Lucy, and this is the last you’ll hear of them.
Point is, Lucy’s not looking for love.
But then…as she’s wandering about town looking for a Wi-Fi signal, she has a chance meeting with Schroeder, the mononymic piano player whom she pined for during her entire childhood. She even followed him to Boston where he attended the Berklee School of Music while she got her BA at Suffolk. He’s…
