The year is 1932, and Amelia Earhart is piloting a red Lockheed Vega 5B on her way to Ireland. She’s above 14,000 ft, and clouds are the only thing between her and the Atlantic Ocean. Amelia lands in a cow field near Londonderry the next day.

She is the reason why you know the third person to fly the Atlantic. We also know the first women to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross — a military decoration awarded for “heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial flight.”

The year is 2009, and Joe Rogan is fixing a cheap webcam with a fellow comedian Brian Redban. The duo decides to add the snowflake effect for unbeknown reasons.

The new show features a meathead smoking weed and drinking whiskey for 3 hours. The world is obsessed with sound bites, and low attention spans. Joe breaks the narrative to become a global nanny that’s raising your kids after school.

The year is 2020, and 2 Minute Madness is live. The publication curates stories that are unapologetically 2 minutes long — just under 500 words. The world of traditional and indie publishing gags over the format option.
