The habits of the world’s most successful people can be fascinating.

  • What do they do differently than the rest of us?
  • What are their secrets to high performance?
  • What do they do when they wake up and what do they do before they go to bed?

Let’s dive into the morning and evening routines of five famous people: Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey, a billionaire media executive, and philanthropist told the Hollywood Reporter she wakes up at 6 a.m. without an alarm clock. She trained her dogs to go out around that time. At 6:45 a.m., she makes a chai tea or skim cappuccino, and works out at her gym around 7 a.m. At 8 a.m., she does at least 10 to 20 minutes of walking or mediation. At the end of the night, the last thing she does is write five things that she is grateful for.

Jeff Bezos

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is a big believer in getting sleep. He wakes up every morning naturally without an alarm clock. He also never schedules early-morning meetings. At night, he makes sure he gets at least eight hours of sleep.
