Hi there! I’m Sarah, the author of 2 Roaming Rascals. In early 2017, my then fiancé, now husband — Prathap — and I decided to quit our stable and secure tech jobs in San Francisco to journey around the world for a year.

After a solid 9 months of planning and anticipation, we packed up our belongings, made some tough decisions about what to bring and what not to bring, and set out.

I put this blog together in an effort to capture my feelings, thoughts, and observations about each place we visit. It’s a place where I intend to share my favorite photos (usually taken by Prathap), videos, and experiences from each of our stops.

I hope you enjoy my posts. My main motivation for this is to have a personal souvenir of our year abroad. If, along the way, it brings a smile to your face, gives you the inspiration to travel, or makes you go “hmmm”, then the value rises. Thanks for reading!
