Breathe

It all starts with one breath and it ends with one breath. The red thread that runs through our life is the fact that we’re all breathing. It shows that we are alive. When we are born, the first thing we do to welcome the world is breathe. It shows the people who await us that everything is fine. And this is what we are bound to do as long as we live on this planet. To show that it is fine to be what we are and to be who we are. Because someone awaited our birth and someone will always be happy for us to exist. We are the stones that build the walls that others built. We are the stones that provide for protection from the world that we live in. But the world that we live in can be unthankful. It can be ruthless, it can feel worthless. When the worth of our life is to show others how grateful we should be. Grateful of the fact that we are allowed to exist in this world. So in the end we depend on others just like we depend on ourselves. But since you should trust your neighbour like you trust yourself. And you shall love your neighbour like you love yourself. But you don’t even know if you trust yourself or if you love yourself. So how could you trust others?

Still you do, in some way, provide for guarantee because you choose to trust others more than you trust yourself. Since you feel like you will get to know yourself through others. Life can be hard but it can be reassuring. Trust can disappoint but even when it does, it teaches you. And all we want is to learn. But this is what our mind keeps telling us. It’s like there is a war in our mind. A war that keeps waging, a war that keeps engaging fear: fear of trust. And this is the paradox. Because all we need to do is listen. Since even though we’re constantly fighting ourselves we are still breathing. We are alive so we should be grateful. One day we will stop breathing. And until that day we should be aware of how important every single one of us is.

Everyone deserves a second chance.

Be honest to yourself and to the people that surround you.
Live and breathe. Stop worrying for one second and appreciate that you are allowed to live when others aren’t. Just for one moment realize how important you are to others and how important you should be to yourself. And trust me.

One day you’ll be able to believe and you’ll know that you’ve never been a mistake. You’ll see that you’ve been mistaken about how you’d seen yourself. Because you matter just like others matter to you.
So just breathe.
