WHAT A TIME. TO BE ALIVE.
FIRST THINGS FIRST, WE’RE NOT IN 2K17 OR 2077. IT’S 2000FOREVERBABY!
It must have felt like this when cocaine hit the Western market in the 70’s. People running around butt naked screaming “WE’RE NEVER GONNA DIE!” While we’re [obviously] not endorsing coke we’re waist-deep in the energy steeped in our modern culture. Five years ago trap music wasn’t a big deal. Fast-forward and it’s a TIDAL [lol, HOV] wave right about now. And not just for summer vibes, like the Afro-Carribean/Hispanic influence in summer jams. BANDO music is here. To stay. I mean, peep Migos in Lagos, Nigeria, just LAST YEAR.
This little corner of the internet isn’t about trap music [at least, not entirely]. What 2000FOREVER celebrates though is the influence of social culture via art, media, fashion, and evolution of lifestyle within the budding African continent. We must celebrate ourselves, embrace our personalities, and consolidate our achievements or the earth would keep spinning while we leave it unchanged as we met it. We are blessed to be a part of this generation because we have more talent and ability than the world is ready for. Think of 2000FOREVER as a tiny magic window; whether you fall in or not, our cruise continues to the world’s end.
Here’s bringing you 21st century Africa and the new cultural renaissance as a contemporary global wave. Explore the cesspool of Generation Z African creatives and entrepreneurs shaping the future of the African continent, from street to stage, against all odds. Expect to dive deep, and swim wide. There’s a ton of work to do, but we’d absolutely love to hear from you. And the best part is we’re going to enjoy bringing you on our journey as much as we know you’d love to come with. WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.
2000foreverbaby.
