My Mistakes

The reason for my wrongs.

It was all going so smoothly until I went to my grandmother’s house — a place surrounded by meat — on weekends. Since there was nice weather on Sunday, she decided to have a cookout and completely forget I’m doing my science project and can’t eat meat. At first I tried to fight it and stay in my cousin’s room but about an hour later all I heard is my name being called to come down. And that could only mean two things: I’m in trouble or they need me. Either way I didn’t want to take chances so I went and ended up eating meat.

Before going to my grandmother’s house, all I was basically eating was PB&J and a lot of seafood mainly because that’s all I can eat. Also I did have pasta with alfredo sauce and salad and for most of the time it was filling. Also one advice I would give to anyone who is changing their diet is to make sure you’re basically not surrounded by the things you can’t eat because it’s so tempting.

Also one more thing: Let’s all be honest. Doesn’t it just feel right and like you’re doing good when you don’t cheat with your project? Basically all I wanted to share with my post this week is I made a mistake and I’m trying to learn from is even if it hurts but to stay away from meat.
