2019 Annual Report

2019 By The Numbers

One of the complexities of being a learning organization is we can focus so much on what we want to improve that we forget to celebrate our growth and milestones along the way. While this annual report prioritizes reflecting on what we have learned, we also want to share the top line numbers we closely track to chart our progress.

At a high level, we raised more than we spent, exceeded student outcomes from 2018, and enrolled twice as many students as the year prior. Things are going well. Here are the details, and please reach out with any questions.

  • 78 total degrees earned, up from 49 in 2018
  • 243 students ever served, up from 154 in 2018
  • 89 new enrollments, up from 45 in 2018
  • 80% persistence rate, compared to 33% for part-time students in Texas
  • 84% of students on track to graduate on-time, compared to 52% for public four-year universities in Texas
  • 635 students served indirectly through models PelotonU helped launch, up from 300 in 2018
  • 3 new hybrid colleges launched (5 in total), up from 1 launched in 2018

Additionally, here’s a summary of our 2019 financials.

Finally, and most important, none of this work would be possible without the financial support of our partners.
