As a millennial who grew up during the 2008 recession era and watched my parents struggle with money, I saw the real consequences of not having strong financial plans. Hiring financial advisors is often out of reach for most college students and grads, so apps like Mint help to bridge the void. Mint syncs to your bank accounts and allows you to customize a spending plan, complete with built in budget alerts for when your funds are running low, or for when you need to reach a savings goal. This app can be very useful to grads who are entering the workforce and need to figure out how to use their income wisely, especially allocating rent and utilities payments.
