Black History Month isn’t over yet! Thanks to the leap year, we present to you Emmanuel Agwam, black painter and multi-media artist who is based in Queens, New York. Emmanuel’s work spotlights black figures, and tackles notions of the black identity through colorful imagery and giddy brushwork.

Watch as he talks about the black narrative and it’s importance, and what inspires him to do his work. He details his journey thus far as an artist and painter, and talks about where he wants his work to go in the future.
