Wellbees Challenge & UNICEF Join Forces for Earthquake Relief Efforts
The Wellbees Challenge March 2023 is coming up.
As previously announced, in 2021, we invested in the corporate well-being platform, Wellbees. Wellbees provides a comprehensive B2B SaaS platform that prioritizes the well-being of employees, resulting in enhanced productivity and employee satisfaction. The platform leverages the power of socialization within companies to foster communities where individuals can connect with like-minded peers, initiate impactful challenges, and cultivate healthy habits.
In addition to in-company challenges, Wellbees conducts a worldwide inter-company step competition known as the Wellbees Challenge.
Today, we invite you to support earthquake relief efforts in the region during this time of emergency by joining the Wellbees Challenge March 1–21, 2023, and uniting forces with UNICEF.
On February 6, 2023, thousands of children and families are at risk after two devastating earthquakes and numerous aftershocks hit southeast Türkiye and Syria. The collective death toll is now at least 35,000. While the total number of children affected remains unclear, 4.6 million children live in the 10 provinces of Türkiye hit by the earthquakes, and more than 2.5 million children are affected in Syria. Many families have lost their homes and are now living in temporary shelters, often in freezing conditions and with snow and rain adding to their suffering.
The earthquakes have also caused widespread damage to schools and other essential infrastructure, further jeopardizing the well-being of children and families. Access to safe water and sanitation is also a major concern, as are the health needs of the affected population.
Your steps can have power. In light of this disaster, the fundraising effort for this initiative has been changed. If you join the Wellbees Challenge, 100% of your participation fee will now go directly to UNICEF.
