Welcome to 21st Century Gutenberg
I admit I’m a bit biased. I’ve been in the printing business for a very long time as well as on the forefront of the digital photo and print evolution and I owe my career to the move away from film photography to digital capture.
I don’t shoot film. All of my photos are now digital because, in almost all senses, it is better.
But when I read for pleasure or want to really enjoy photography I can’t stand looking at a screen. I want to physically interact. I want print.
This collection is about honoring the artifact. About rejecting digial for digital’s sake. The smell of ink, the feel of paper, the joy of a well-bound edition.
