A starting proposalAugust is incorporated as a Benefit Corporation. One of the key differences between a Benefit Corporation and a Regular Corporation is that as owners, we must consider a General Public Benefit in addition to a profit/cashflow motive. ¶ A General Public Benefit is as…general as it sounds: a “material positive impact on society and the environment,” as assessed by a third party review of our business and operations.
