Google’s G Suite now has ‘.new’ shortcuts
Google’s new shortcut is a huge welcome to heavy users of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. Instead of having to navigate to Google Drive to create a new document. Google has made it easier to instantly create a new file across the G Suite service.
With ‘.new’ URLs, Docs can be created with domains doc.new, docs.new or document.new; Sheets with sheet.new, sheets.new, or spreadsheet.new; Slides with slide.new, slides.new, deck.new, or presentation.new; Forms with form.new or forms.new; And Sites with site.new, sites.new, or website.new.
These shortcuts work across any browser. Just don’t type in the “www” — just the domain.
This is a game changer for many and could save you a ton of time throughout the day. Who know? Maybe we’d get ‘email.new’ in the near future.
